A Few Thoughts From a New Grandma, Again

I have been missing in action for a few weeks. I have been blessed with another grandchild, thanks to my daughter. A beautiful little girl. Madison, 8lbs.10oz., auburn hair and a bundle of pure joy. I have had the pleasure of seeing another life come into this world that will immortalize me once again. I stayed at my daughter’s home to help her recover from a C-Section, but it was really my pleasure. I was able to care for little Madison in every way, including the infamous 2am feeding. Watching her sister running around helping her mom with her baby sister was pure joy. Being able to witness and be part of the miracle of life still amazes me even after my eighth grand child. How lucky am I. Sharing thoughts with my wonderful daughter about being a mom . Making memories and taking photos with my minds eye and storing them in my heart. This little one will probably be the last grandbaby for me. All of my children are just about finished having children, or so they say :o)…

Now it’s back to getting ready for our move. The moving men will be here on Monday to pack and Tuesday we are off to a new home. We are moving closer to my daughter and her family since she is my only child living in Florida. My two son’s live in New York along with their families. It has been a hectic few weeks and I expect the next couple of weeks will not be any different. I know the stress will come, but I will have something to make it easier to handle. My memories. :o)
