I can finally sit for longer than a few minutes and want to thank all of you for your kindness and healing wishes.

Having a knee replaced was more stressful than I thought it would be. Adding to that I popped a deep stitch and started bleeding just as I thought I was getting better. I was put on bed rest for five days, ice packs and a brace to keep the leg straight.

I know I will heal and thank all of you for your prayers, but it is going to take more time than I originally thought. It is an exhausting surgery and took me by surprise.

I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration. I hope to be back soon.

Bless you, all. ♥♥♥

  1. Wishing you a smooth recovery from now until you are bounding up hills. Although it probably means very little at this point, a friend of mine (also, Patricia), had both knees replaced, and although the recovery was tough, she is so glad she decided to do it; it changed the quality of her life.

  2. Thank you, dear Michele. I had a bit of a setback. My knee started bleeding last Thursday, all P.T. was discontinued, and bed rest, it is still seeping. I have an appointment this Wed. They think I popped a deep stitch if that’s true I hope it’s on the mend. So sweet of you to come visit me. Hugs.xo

  3. Dear Pat,

Away in West Wales last week, I stood with ocean spray in my face, thinking of you and our happy blog-chat down the years, wishing you a good recovery. It’ll take time, I know, bound to after such a procedure. But how heartening it is to hear from you now. Take it easy.

    My very best always,

    Best wishes from Maureen too.

    • Thank you, Paul. Thanks for the visit, My time sitting in front of the computer is restricted, but all of you bring a smile to my face. Tomorrow I visit the surgeon and get new orders, I hope for the better. I am getting cabin fever. However, I do have time to read the long list of books, and am enjoying it. Please thank Maureen for me as well. I know you are both busy and yet you take time to cheer me up. Love it. Hugs, xo
