IN THE HOSPITAL…AGAIN

Sorry, all for the absence. I was back in the hospital for surgery on the new knee. It got infected and they had to reopen it. Brought in an Infectious Disease specialist. Just got home last night, they put a shunt in and I will be on medication until Jan.10th., every day. What a Christmas this is going to be. However, I do wish you all a wonderful holiday season, and a Happy New Year. Will try to keep you updated. Love you all.

  1. Oh, Sis, I’m so sorry. Please take care of you and know that I keep you in my prayers. I really thought you were recovering well. I have a friend here that went through the same thing and recovered quickly once she went back to the hospital for treatment and I pray you will also. Please keep us posted. Love you. Xoxo

  2. I hope your pain is emotional and not physical. Sending healing thoughts your way – and hoping you can find some Peace propped on pillows, sipping egg nog or hot chocolate, and listening to lovely Christmas music by the glow of your tree. May this quickly become part of your past as you move into a healthy future.

Take care of YOU – and do your best to enjoy a very different kind of Christmas season. I’m sure there will come a time in the frantic Christmas future when you will look back with longing – 🙂

  3. I was thinking of you today and wondering how you were. I am so very sorry for this “setback” -I know that was awful-now this will be a different Christmas-but I hope you a quick recovery and love showing up in new ways for you. I wish I could bring you cookies.

  4. Patricia, if you are feeling up to reading, John Kraft (one of our favorite bloggers) has started a new series, “Boxer” on Saturdays. Yesterday was #4, so you can easily catch up. Hope you’re on the mend. Best to you!
